This one of a kind eyeglass/sunglasses case is absolutely amazing! The glowing color of the huipil is one of a kind! The fair trade materials and work were all made in Guatemala in the Patzun region from a handwoven, hand embroidered huipil. The vintage huipil is from the Chichicastenango region of Guatemala. The case is entirely handcrafted. The only machinery used in its creation was a sewing machine to stitch it together.

This piece is one of a kind. You won’t find its duplicate anywhere. There are natural marks and lines in the leather that are natural to the leather.

These pieces are fair trade, sustainable fashion and unique. They are made from vintage huipil or new artisan custom woven huipils. Huipils are shirts, woven on backstrap looms by Mayan women in Guatemala. Each huipil tells the story of the woman who created it. The history, skill and meaning behind each huipil has been handed down for generations.
