This one of a kind grey pearl leather bag is absolutely amazing! It has a very light pearlescent sheen to the leather. Inspired by the top fashion houses current Haute Couture pieces, each big of this bag is created by hand. The fabric is handwover, hand-embroidered, hand-stitched and each bead sewn on by hand.

The sparkling vibrant Patzun embroidered Huipil body and hand beaded floral Patzun huipil pockets compliment the warm sumptuous cool pale silvery grey leather. The remarkable rich, bright shades of pinks, magenta flowers have hints of sparkle threads throughout the huipil are the perfect color combination with the purple beaded pockets The beading on the embroidered pockets shimmer and sparkle.

The fair trade materials and work were all made in Guatemala in the Patzun region. The vintage textiles are sold in a fair trade market and upcycled into this bag. The bag is entirely handcrafted. The only machinery used in its creation was a sewing machine to stitch it together.

This medium CDB, or convertible day bag can be worn many ways. It comes with a matching leather shoulder strap, leather backpack straps and leather handles so it can be carried in many ways. This bag is one of a kind. You won’t find its duplicate anywhere.

These bags are fair trade, sustainable fashion and unique. They are made from vintage Huipils, or shirts, woven on backstrap looms by Mayan women in Guatemala. Each huipil tells the story of the woman who created it. The history, skill and meaning behind each huipil has been handed down for generations.

The bag is entirely handcrafted with full grain leather handles and a matching leather shoulder strap. There are natural marks and lines in the leather that are natural to the leather. This bag will keep getting better with time! A leather tassel adorns the zipper pull.

The interior has a leather trimmed zippered compartment and two pockets for a cell phone and your miscellaneous goodies. It has a plastic zipper and high quality silver tone hardware. The interior is lined with beautiful handmade plaid Corte fabric.
