This one of a kind black leather bag is absolutely amazing! The floral pattern is beautiful and has lovely dimension and sharing to the pattern. This pattern was woven into a stunning textile by a Mayan woman in the Chichicastengo region of Guatemala. The side pockets are matching of the same huipil as the bag body. This bag yearns to be matched with a gorgeous black and white outfit!! It would be very My Fair Lady inspired.

The fair trade materials and work were all made in Guatemala in the Chichicastenango region. The custom created huipil was handwoven by a talented female artisan using technique handed down for many generations. The bag is entirely handcrafted. The only machinery used in its creation was a sewing machine to stitch it together.

This Medium CDB, or convertible day bag can be worn many ways. It comes with a matching leather shoulder strap, leather backpack straps and leather handles so it can be carried in many ways. This bag is one of a kind. You won’t find its duplicate anywhere.

These bags are fair trade, sustainable fashion and unique. They are made from vintage Huipils, or shirts, woven on backstrap looms by Mayan women in Guatemala. Each huipil tells the story of the woman who created it. The history, skill and meaning behind each huipil has been handed down for generations.

The bag is entirely handcrafted with full grain black leather handles and a matching leather shoulder strap. There are natural marks and lines in the leather that are natural to the leather. This bag will keep getting better with time! A leather tassel adorns the zipper pull.

The interior has a leather trimmed zippered compartment and two pockets for a cell phone and your miscellaneous goodies. It has a plastic zipper and high quality silver tone hardware. The interior is lined with beautiful handmade plaid Corte fabric.
