This one of a kind natural tan leather bag is absolutely amazing! The detailed geometric huipil from Chichicastenango the region
is wonderfully vibrant. The panel is woven in shades or reds, blues, oranges, pinks, yellow and black - and it’s the perfect vibrant color combination.

The fair trade materials and work were all made in Guatemala in the Chichicastenango region from a vintage handwoven and embroidered huipil. The vintage huipil is then sold in a fair trade market and upcycled into this bag. The bag is entirely handcrafted. The only machinery used in its creation was a sewing machine to stitch it together.

This medium CDB, or convertible day bag can be worn many ways. It comes with a matching leather shoulder strap, leather backpack straps and leather handles so it can be carried in many ways. The gorgeous huipil is a weaving of bright, electric, happy colors. This bag is one of a kind. You won’t find its duplicate anywhere.

These bags are fair trade, sustainable fashion and unique. They are made from vintage Huipils, or shirts, woven on backstrap looms by Mayan women in Guatemala. Each huipil tells the story of the woman who created it. The history, skill and meaning behind each huipil has been handed down for generations.

The bag is entirely handcrafted with luxury soft full grain
leather handles and a matching leather shoulder strap. This bag will keep getting better with time! A leather tassel adorns the zipper pull. The leather on this bag is gorgeous; thick, rich and supple.

The interior has a leather trimmed zippered compartment and two pockets for a cell phone and your miscellaneous goodies. It has a plastic zipper and high quality silver tone hardware. The interior is lined with beautiful handmade plaid Corte fabric.
