Classic Luxury Black Leather and Floral Embroidered Patzun Huipil CDB bag with leather shoulder and backpack straps

This one of a kind luxury leather bag is absolutely amazing! The fair trade materials and work were all made in Guatemala from a vintage handwoven huipil from the Patzun region of Guatemala. The bag is entirely handcrafted. The only machinery used in its creation was a sewing machine to stitch it together.

This CDB, or convertible day bag can be worn many ways. It comes with a matching black leather shoulder strap, leather backpack straps and leather handles so it can be carried in many ways. The gorgeous intricate embroidery shows detailed flowers in vibrant purples, pinks and greens. This bag is one of a kind. You won’t find another exactly like it.

I paired this bag with a gorgeous matching woven strap. It’s a beautiful accent to the bag. It can be purchased is addition to the bag as the perfect compliment. The bag does come with matching all leather straps. This embroidered strap is an added accessory.

These bags are fair trade, sustainable fashion and unique. They are made from vintage Huipils, or shirts, woven on backstrap looms by Mayan women in Guatemala. Each huipil tells the story of the woman who created it. The history, skill and meaning behind each huipil has been handed down for generations.

The bag is entirely handcrafted with gorgeous full grain luxury leather handles and a matching leather shoulder and backpack straps. This bag will keep getting better with time! A leather tassel adorns the zipper pull.

The interior also has a leather trimmed zippered compartment and two pockets for a cell phone and your miscellaneous goodies. It has a metal zipper and luxury quality silver tone hardware.
